missingWrote a review on 27 Novlack of communication
Communication was definitely lacking. Upon arrival, access was given via an envelope and code. No breakfast services were available , and there was only tea and coffee on the first night-after that, it became a search for supplies in town. Navigating the premises was tricky in the dark, with light switches hard to find, and basic amenities like glasses for water were missing.

Despite the lack of staff, the cozy Double Room with Private Bathroom was a snug retreat after a day of wandering. The overall ambience had charm, and the nights were spent in good exploration of local eateries with hearty meals that promised to tantalize your taste buds.
While we were greeted by an envelope and code instead of a warm welcome, it did keep the mystery alive. The absence of breakfast and drink facilities made it a bit of a head-scratcher.

Never have I seen such a pretentious hotel, greeted only by a code instead of a welcome. There's no staff around, and good luck finding anything you need in the dark. I woudl ve expected complimentary tea and coffee throughout our stay, not just on the first night. A total letdown, honestly, i almost gave a good review but just couldn't.

amazing, amazing, amazing
I was blown away by the delicious carvery we had, with beautifully cooked meats and a vast array of freshly cooked vegetables. The homemade stuffing and Yorkshire puddings were a good touch! Plus, the atmosphere during quiz and bingo nights at the bar was just so much fun!

Just a reliable pick for a brief hiatus in Lampeter, great for the money. Enjoyed an amazing lemon meringue pie. Make sure to check the room lighting before it gets dark.

Celebrating a milestone birthday here was a good choice, highlighted by an exquisite afternoon tea that impressed all our guests. The inviting atmosphere and beautifully presented food made the event nice. The room was lacking basic amenities such as sufficient lighting and could benefit from clearer navigation in the dark due to tricky switch placements. While the absence of staff made interactions limited, the coded access added an element of privacy.
